Hello! So you’ve found yourself here, and you’re now inevitably wondering – what the hell is this all about?

Akumei is a traditional and mixed-media comic about mental illness, the struggle with self-love and acceptance, and finding hope in the hopelessness… and also a bunch of crazy magic and supernatural fights.

This is a story I’ve been working on in various forms and editions for almost half of my life now – it is something close to my heart that helps me express and process my own voices and demons, and I hope it can help you confront your as well.
